Operation Dark Winter concluded June 23, or 23/6, on the 6-year anniversary of the death of Jonas Salk, Mr. Vaccine.

Johns Hopkins put on Dark Winter, June 22-23, 2001, Clade X, May 15, 2018, and Event 201, October 18, 2019.

It should be noted that part of Operation Dark Winter was simulating an anthrax attack, which happened after 9/11, with the first confirmed cased September 18, coming 87-days after June 23, and 88-days after June 22, both relevant numbers.
