5 injured in Morgan State University shooting in Baltimore, Maryland, October 3, 2023
This occurred Tuesday night, October 3, 2023, at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, an HBCU. As we know, Baltimore has been stricken with tragedy for months, and much of it has been connected to the deaths of former Baltimore Ravens. In this case, the shooting that “injured 5” is 131 days before Super Bowl 58, the upcoming NFL event, on the 42nd day of the year, February 11, 2024. Baltimore this season is trying to make it to their fifth Super Bowl as a city and this news comes just before NFL Week 5 begins. *Super Bowl = 131
*This shooting also comes 33 weeks and 1 day after the Michigan State shooting of February 13, 2023.

Reverend Lyttleton Morgan the first chairman of its board of trustees and a land donor to the college. In 1890, the university, then known as the Centenary Biblical Institute, changed its name to Morgan College to honor Reverend Lyttleton Morgan.
