On the same day his death was announced, November 22, 2025, Chris Paul, who went to Wake Forest, announced he was retiring.

Keep in mind Chris Paul and Rodney Rogers played for some of the same teams in the NBA as well, but Chris Paul started with New Orleans, a ’54’ city.
