Bill Mazeroski dies on the first day of Spring Training, February 20, 2026

Bill Mazeroski died on February 20, the first day of Spring Training.

He died on the 169th day of his age (Seattle Seahawks=169, Sam Darnold=169).
For more Seattle connections, they are as follows (Bill Mazeroski=62, Seattle Mariners=62).

Remember, the Seahawks won the Super Bowl on February 8, or 8/2 (Bill Mazeroski=82, Seattle=82).

There were 82 runs in his memorable World Series win (27-55 scoring).
Notice that he died 12 days after the Super Bowl (for the “Twelves”).
He coached for the Pirates and the Mariners, both having to do with the sea (water). It goes with him dying in the time of Pisces, a water sign.

Again, this news comes shortly after Super Bowl 60, won by the Seattle Seahawks, the third “Pope Bowl,” where the first was Pittsburgh over Seattle, in the year of Super Bowl 40.
This death also comes two days after the passing of former Pittsburgh Steeler, Mike Wagner.

Mike Wagner died at age 76, and was Super Bowl champion in ’76. It goes with the fact that the Seahawks first season was in ’76.

In light of the first ever ‘walk-off home run,’ he is dead 168 days after his birthday, and 66 years after doing so (Walk-off home run=168 & 66).

He is dead 131 days from the anniversary of the walk-off home run (Championship=131, Super Bowl=131).

Notice that there were 19 runs in his legendary walk-off home run game (Seattle=19).

He died at age 89 (89, 24th prime — Seahawks=24).

Notice below that the statue of his legendary moment was unveiled for the 50th anniversary (Pittsburgh=50 — it goes with the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl in their 50th season — Washington=50 — and winning it in San Fran *San Francisco=50).
