Saint Peter Claver’s feast day falls on the start date of the 2026 NFL season (and Peter Cullen’s recent death)
Recall that Peter Cullen, the Optimus Prime voice actor (Transformers), died the same day that Trump declared a National Emergency to Secure America’s Bulk-Power System. Again, Peter Cullen was named after the Jesuit Priest, Peter Claver, and today is his feast day, September 9, 2026.
The NFL season kicks off today, 14 days later (NFL=14).
The NFL once had the Blackout Bowl during Super Bowl 47, 14 seasons ago (NFL=14). We are now in the time of #47 (Trump=47).
I’ll discuss it more later, but the blackout at the Florida State football game this past Monday, September 7, 2026, was in a “107” stadium, and this will be the 107th NFL season, which begins today.
It is a “107” stadium because it opened on October 7, or 10/7. And notice the score of the first game played there was 40-7, a reminder that Super Bowl 47 was the “blackout bowl,” where the Ravens defeated the 49ers.
We are now in the time of #47, who spend a lot of time in Florida.
It also ties in with the Super Bowl halftime performance at the start of the year, which paid tribute to the blackout in Puerto Rico.
FYI, in 1947, Florida State began accepting women.
