Jeff Cannonball died on the day, leaving 84 days in the year, 96 days after July 4, the anniversary of Lou Gehrig’s ALS speech in the Bronx (Lou Gehrig’s Disease=84 & 96). He died at age 39, and Lou Gehrig announced his ALS diagnosis in 1939.

Keep in mind a cannonball is a bullet, and on the day of Jeff Cannonball’s death, there was an ICE shooting in the Bronx, where the Yankees play baseball, and Lou Gehrig.

Lou Gehrig gave his ALS announcement at Yankee Stadium on July 4 (Jeff Cannonball=74, Ice Bucket Challenge=74).

Chris Johnson of the NFL was recently diagnosed with ALS at age 39.
