Dallas Mavericks win the NBA lottery 142 days after Cooper Flagg’s birthday, May 12, 2025
With supposed 1.8% odds of getting the #1 draft pick, the Dallas ‘Mavericks’ got the #1 pick in the draft, and are expected to take Cooper Flagg with the pick. The NBA Draft Lottery took place 142 days after Flagg’s birthday (talk about a ritual). Keep in mind Flagg will wear the same white and blue with the Mavericks, as he did with Duke. He will also give the Mavericks a new “Great White Hope” after Luka Doncic was shipped to the Lakers.
