Mickey Lolich’s death at 85, the day the Portland Pilots upset the Gonzaga Bulldogs

On the day of the Portland Pilots historic upset of the Gonzaga Bulldogs in basketball, a Portland native and sports star, Mickey Lolich, died at 85 (Basketball=85, Iesus Hominum Salvator=85 — IHS is the Jesuit motto). This ritual occurred on the 85th day of the Superior General’s age.

Keep in mind, it’s the year of the 122nd World Series, and Mickey Lolich’s Tigers are one of the favorites in the AL to be in the big game (Iesus Hominum Salvator=85 & 122 —- Portland is on the 122nd Meridian West).

He also went to Lincoln, who had a 12/2 birthday (and who blamed the Civil War on the Jesuits).

Notice he began his MLB career in ’63, the year of the assassination of #35, JFK, going with him dying on the 35th day of the year (Catholic=35, Pilots=35). This year will mark 63 years since he joined the MLB (Major League Baseball=63, Major League=63).

For another point, in light of the Catholic School getting their biggest win in history, in Portland, the day of his death, he died 145 days after his birthday, on the 35th day of the year.
