After the September 11th, 2001 attacks 4 buildings were removed from the Manhattan skyline. Besides World Trade Center Buildings 1,2 and 7 the Deutsche Bank Building had to be demolished due to irreparable damage.

A mysterious monolith suddenly appeared in Seattle’s Magnuson Park. It was the first day of the year 2001.

Another monolith is the United Nations Secretariat Building. Here we have a connection to the World Trade Center: There is another Millennium Hilton at United Nations Plaza near the Secretariat monolith although this one is not designed after Arthur C Clarke and Stanley Kubrick’s monoliths.
The United Nations buildings sit on the former site of slaughter houses; a Manhattan neighborhood known as Tudor City. The slaughter house properties were bought by the Rockefellers and donated to New York City for the purpose of building the United Nations Headquarters on the site.

Thanks for the additional information. The number 12 is a Jupiter reference in that it takes 12 years (Earth years) for Jupiter to complete one revolution around the Sun. 12 Earth years is 1 Jupiter year.
