Recall, the Phillies clinched the playoffs when the new manager picked up his 65th win, and of course, Philadelphia is the city established on October 27, the day leaving 65 days in the year.

    Phillies won Game 1 6-5, on the same day as Vince Dooley’s death which came 65-days before the anniversary of him winning the college football national championship with Georgia.
    Also, one of his former players, Herschel Walker played for Philadelphia in the NFL.
