They’re comparing this to Sandy Hook, where the shooting happened 56 years after the school opened in ’56. That’s why they also reported 2 dead and 6 injured, like the 26 killed in Sandy Hook, which the 12th anniversary just passed two days prior, December 14, 2024. Keep in mind today is the 351st day of the year, the 26th triangular number.
