Coach K has been coaching Duke since the 1980-81 season.

Coach K is 5-4 in Championships
-If Coach K wins 6, he will be 6-4 (64 teams in March Madness traditionally)
Villanova Wildcats = 64 (Villanova & Duke are first teams to make Final 4)

1986 – Louisville over Duke (L)
-Final Four: Kansas & LSU

1990 – UNLV over Duke (L)
-Final Four: Arkansas & Georgia Tech

1991 – Duke over Kansas (W)
-Final Four: UNC & UNLV

1992 – Duke over Michigan (W)
-Final Four: Cincinnati & Indiana

1994 – Arkansas over Duke (L)
-Final Four: Arizona & Florida

1999 – Connecticut over Duke (L)
-Final Four: Michigan State & Ohio State

2001 – Duke over Arizona (W)
-Final Four: Maryland & Michigan State

2010 – Duke over Butler (W)
-Final Four: West Virginia & Michigan State

2015 – Duke over Wisconsin (W)
-Final Four: Kentucky & Michigan State

Keep in mind Coach K won his first championship in ’91 (Duke, Kansas & UNC were in Final 4)
-That is the year the Soviet Union folded
-Saint Peter’s is the Soviet Union tribute team in 2022
-Saint Peter’s plays UNC (Jordan’s school)
-Jordan won his first championship in ’91
-Jordan won 6 championships
-Coach K is trying to win his 6th championship in ’22 *Duke = 22

In light of his first championship being in ’91, that is the 13th triangular number
