Keep in mind the Jesuits are from France, and Louisiana was part of the “French Purchase.”

The 223rd anniversary of the French Purchase is in 11 days.

That means the purchase is 222-years-old and change (Superior General=222).

Ignatius of Loyola became the Superior General on this day in history.

Today is the 159th day of the current Superior General’s age.
