Bob Ferguson activated the National Guard one day before the Spokane Fire, July 31, 2026 (the Feast Day for Ignatius of Loyola). Of course, Ignatius of Loyola is known for his quote, “Go forth and set the world on fire,” tying in with 144-year-old Spokane going up in flames (Go forth and set the world on fire=144, Jesuit Order=144 & 54 — the fire began on Euclid (Euclid=54) and Bob Ferguson’s birthday is the 54th day of the year).
