Garret Anderson dies at age 53, one day after Jackie Robinson Day, April 16, 2026
Last year, the World Series began on the 53rd death anniversary of Jackie Robinson, who died at age 53, and the Los Angeles Dodgers, with whom Garret Anderson finished his MLB career with, won the 53rd World Series for the National League (Los Angeles=53).
53 is the 16th prime number, and he died on the 16th of April, after wearing 16 with the Angels for his career. He also played 17 MLB seasons, and his death was announced on the 17th.
Recall, in Super Bowl 53, 16 points were scored, between Los Angeles and the Patriots.
