NFL Week 7’s tribute to Back to the Future, October 22-26, 2026

October 26, 2026, the night of Dallas’ win, was the 41st anniversary of time travel occurring (Dallas=41, Doc Brown=41).

NFL Week 7 began on October 22, 2026, Christopher LLoyd’s 88th birthday, aka Doc Brown, from Back to the Future. NFL Week 7 ended on October 26, the day that Doc Brown time travels at 88 MPH. Fittingly, Dak Prescott, got his 88th career win, throwing two touchdowns to CeeDee Lamb, #88, on October 26.

There were 59 points in the game (Back to the Future=59).

Doc Brown is “Emmett Brown,” and Emmett Smith played for the Dallas Cowboys.

During the game, they paid tribute to David Moulton, who died at 59.

*They showed during the game that David Moulton was born in ’65 and died in 2026 (meaning he should have been 61, or close to 61 — Philadelphia=65 & 61 — which made no sense, since they said he died at age 59).
Also, a player named ‘Camden BROWN‘ made his NFL debut in the game last night (Doc BROWN).

On Thursday Night Football, the Bears beat the Patriots, in a a rematch of Super Bowl 20, which was played shortly after the release of Back to the Future in 1985. Keep in mind Mike Ditka was the coach of the ’85 Bears, and he played for the Bears, Eagles, and Cowboys, three of the four teams that began and ended the week.
Notice the Cowboys won with 38 points, in the year of Super Bowl 61.

Christopher Lloyd was born in ’38.
Great Scott is Doc Brown’s line from Back to the Future (Dak Prescott).
Mike Ditka’s playing career began in ’61.

On Thursday Night Football, Caleb Williams improved to 20-20, and on Monday Night Football, the Eagles picked up the 20th loss for the bird teams this season, after Seattle kept the total on 19 losses, on SNF, 19 days before Seattle’s birthday (Seattle=19).

Keep in mind that a week before these tributes to Back to the Future, SpaceX unveiled the future of flying cars on October 15, 2026, in Texas, where the Cowboys call home.
