As you likely know, 26 people were reportedly killed at Sandy Hook. And it turns out that Churchill was an advocate for the idea that private citizens should not own firearms, even though he was an owner of firearms himself.
In his time as leader, the U.K. needed guns to be sent from the U.S.A. so that they could defend themselves from Germany.
